Increase Hearing — Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Increase Hearing (“Increase Hearing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit or interact with increasehearing.com (the “Site”), schedule an appointment, submit a form, or otherwise communicate with us. By using the Site, you agree to the terms described below.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide Directly

When you fill out a form on the Site (for example, our contact form, appointment request, or hearing aid savings qualification form), or call our office, we may collect:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Any message, question, or details you choose to include (which may reference hearing health concerns, insurance carrier, or appointment preferences)

If you complete an online hearing screening through our third-party partner (ShoeBox Online), that provider collects your screening responses and results directly, subject to their own privacy policy. We may receive a copy of your results or a notice that you completed the screening.

b. Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, when you visit the Site we and our service providers automatically collect certain information through cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies, including:

  • IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, time on page, referring/exit pages, and general browsing behavior
  • Approximate geographic location (city/region level, derived from IP address)

We use Google Tag Manager to deploy analytics and advertising tags on the Site, which may include Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, and Meta (Facebook) Pixel. These tools help us understand how visitors use the Site and measure the effectiveness of our marketing, including ads you may see on other websites or social media after visiting our Site (“retargeting”).

c. Insurance and Payment-Related Information

If you ask us to verify insurance eligibility or benefits (for example, Medicare Advantage or a hearing aid benefit program), you may provide your insurance carrier, plan, and member information. We use this information solely to verify coverage and coordinate your care, and we share only what is necessary with your insurer or its associated benefit manager for that purpose.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide the services you request
  • Verify insurance eligibility and coordinate benefits on your behalf
  • Send appointment reminders and follow-up communications related to your care
  • Send marketing communications about our services, promotions, or events (you may opt out at any time)
  • Measure and improve the performance of our Site and advertising campaigns
  • Maintain the security of our Site and comply with legal obligations

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential site functionality
  • Analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand Site usage
  • Advertising and retargeting (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Pixel) to show you relevant ads and measure campaign results

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how the Site functions. Where required by law, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Site and our business (for example, our web host, form/CRM software, email or SMS platform, and analytics/advertising providers such as Google and Meta)
  • ShoeBox Online, if you complete an online hearing screening
  • Insurance carriers or benefit managers, solely to verify your coverage or process a claim at your request
  • Hearing aid manufacturers (such as Signia, Phonak, Oticon, ReSound, or Widex), only as needed for warranty registration, device programming, or service you request
  • Professional advisors, or government authorities, where required by law or to protect our legal rights
  • A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets

5. Health Information

Information you share with us in connection with your hearing evaluation, treatment, or hearing aid fitting is treated as confidential and used only to provide and coordinate your care. This Site is a marketing and scheduling tool and is not intended for the transmission of sensitive medical details — please avoid including detailed health history in general contact forms. Records related to your clinical care are maintained separately in accordance with applicable healthcare privacy laws and our office’s Notice of Privacy Practices, available upon request at our office.

6. Your Choices and Rights

  • Marketing opt-out: You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, or by contacting us directly to opt out of calls or texts.
  • Cookies: You may manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
  • Access/correction: You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, or to request correction or deletion, subject to legal and recordkeeping requirements.

Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional privacy rights. If you would like to exercise any rights described in this section, contact us using the information in Section 10.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information collected through the Site for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry, provide services, and meet legal, tax, or recordkeeping obligations. Clinical records are retained in accordance with applicable state healthcare recordkeeping requirements.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
